Argyle Centre
This is an indoor environment unlike the others, which are all outdoor places. So it is suitable to people who do not like to go outdoors on hot days. This street also provides everything. An advantage for this street compared to the others is how they have a variety of different shoe sizes. Some shops even concentrate in large size clothing and footwear which can be difficult to find elsewhere as many shops in Hong Kong stock. The market can become congested at weekends and during public holidays. All the shops in Argyle Centre sell the hottest trends in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Although it is crowded, I think It is worth braving the chaotic scene due to its cheap prices in everything they sell. Clothes and accessories are significantly cheaper here than in Causeway Bay, and often less expensive than in the nearby Mongkok street markets.
Out of all the shopping places in Mong Kok, I like going to Arygle Center the most because it is an indoor area. As you know, Hong Kong's weather is very unpredictable. There were many times where I wanted to shop at Ladies Street, but the weather suddenly changed and it started to rain. I didn't want to go back home after coming a long way. So therefore, I decided to go to Arygle Center. I was still able to find what I wanted (clothing, hair accessories) and the price was the same as any other streets in Mong Kok.
After telling my relatives from Canada about this, they asked me why all of the streets in Mong Kok were popular if Arycle Center was the same and had everything that they had. I told him that in Argycle Center is just like any other shopping malls. You cannot bargain with them or negotiate for a lower price. On the bright size, the quality of the clothes in Arycle Center is slightly better than Fa Yuen Street Market and Ladies Street.

"The shop owners were really friendly to me and I felt comfortable shopping there as it wasn't as crowded as Ladies Market. I could find a lot of what I wanted and they were all not too expensive. I will definitely visit this place next time I come to Hong Kong."- Kamie, 21, Canada
